Title: Resolution dpi for screen animation
Post by: friedli3d on 2018-05-18, 09:36:28
Hello all,

Im new working with animation, and i have a little question.
I have to make a video with about 600 frames and it will be used on a screen with 1200mmx675mm. How many dpi should i use to render? 72 or can i use less?

Thank you for your help

It doesnt matter what DPI, more important is resolution. If the screen is FullHD, then set your animation resolution to 1920x1080 pixels. If it is 4k display...it depends from which distance will be people watching on it...probably 1920x1080 will be great and sufficient too

Render native resolution of your screen model
