100% light directionality isn't that

I have an area disc light with 100% directionality, but the light still disperses conically - otherwise it would stay parallel and just illuminate the cylinder cap.
Bad for laser effects in fog.

Have you tried passing it through a hole after it is set to 100% directionality?

 Spot light beam angle and CoronaLight Directionality

Do as advised by TomG, there's no other way (for now).

To my surprise this did not help/work either.
