So apparently with the Corona premium license you also get a Phoenix license. I used my day/night scene for this. I really like what you can do with Phoenix although there are a ton of settings to tweak to get it the way you want. And it renders quite slow.

I always wanted to do something like this. I found some time to do this as a personal project.

Made with Corona 9, model of the cabin is my own design. Entourage models from Chaos Cosmos mostly, some from Evermotion and 3dsky.

Enjoy.

Edit: i added a more photorealitic version too, i actually like that one better.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / ChaosCosmos stopped working

As of late i am not able to use Cosmos anymore. I get the screen that there is a problem and i am asked to reinstall cosmos, but this doesn't help. It has always been buggy for me but at least a reinstall or stopping and starting the service used to fix my problems. But now it just won't work. I added the sites listed in the troubleshooting docs in my browser (edge) but that does nothing. I don't know what else to do.

Can siomeone help me fix this? I can't switch to version 9 at the moment as i am in the middle of multiple projects and switiching to version 8 gave me some real headaches when i switched so i am not keen to do thus again with v9!

[Max] I need help! / Corona 8 Interactive render becomes blurry after a few passes

When i start IR the image appears crisp as usual but after a few passes the image becomes very blurry making the IR unusable.

Anyone else notices this?

[Max] I need help! / Tone mapping settings reset in Corona 7 scenes!

I have several scenes in the backburner with xref files so i don't have to submit a scene each time something changes. I just installed Corona 8 and when restarting a scene that was submitted in Corona 7 the tone mapping is reset to default resulting in a totally wrong output. Is there way to fix this?

EDIT: This also is the case when i open a scene made in Corona 7, this is actually very annoying and should not be happening, by the looks of it there is no backwards compatibility?

[Max] I need help! / Urgent. Luminance difference between frames in animation

I am rendering an animation for the fist time with Corona (vray user before).

The problem i am facing is that between frames the light is different. See the attached image and settings. Am i doing something wrong here? I tried a small test last year with an existing 3d scene and this didn't happen then. I did update to Corona 7 in the meantime.

EDIT: the examples are in really low res for testing purposes but it shows the problem.

Gallery / Dark warehouse appartement

Hi,

New to this forum. I started with Corona renderer in January and loving it so far. (i worked with Vray for a long time before switching to Corona.)

I created these images as a practice project to see how an interior with mostly dark colors would work. I think it turned out pretty good. Most furniture models are from 3dsky and Evermotion, the shaded lamps i found on this forum in the 'free' section. along with some decoration models. The warehouse loft was made by me.

I get a lot of inspiration from the gallery and hope i can give some back this way.
