Not sure what to call this but is it possible to achieve this effect without workarounds? I'm guessing not.

Anyone have any experience of this. I'd imagine you'd have to fake it by creating a tree mask and blurring with something like lenscare, then using that to cast a shadow?

Interested to hear peoples thoughts. :)

I'm following this pretty nifty tutorial


It demonstrates a pretty cool technique for creating large tiling surfaces. However the combination of multitexture and Bercon tile doesn't work with interactive mode.

Being a big part of my workflow I don't want to ditch interactive mode.

Does anyone know an alternative to multitexture/Bercon tile to tile bitmaps in this way. Is there a way to do it with Corona Multimap for instance?

Using latest hotfix version My edges are tapering in some places.

Is there a work around for this?

Hi, just as the title says really. Not sure of the feasibility of this, but perhaps it would be a useful option when creating new proxies with the exporter.

I have a modular building part that I need to make adjustments to every now and then. For some reason every time I resave the proxy object it gets flipped and moved 90 degrees in 2 directions. Causing a lot of pain at the moment because the blocks fit together into a much bigger building and each time I make a change i have to move the individual pieces back. Any ideas?

Struggling to get the results I want with Multimap in diffuse. I've created a clump of grass and am trying to get each blade to be a slightly different shade.

When I set the Multimap to Instance it sets the colour of the clumps as a whole. When I set it to Primitive it seems to affect the individual poly or triangle.

Is it possible to have each blade a random different shade of green. I guess I could use material ID but then the colours would match for each clump I think.

Any suggestions?

From a performance point of view when making grass is it better to scatter a clump or individual blades?

Getting blue/green where I'm expecting red or just grey. Is this a known bug with blend material or am I doing something stupid? :)

A minor thing I know. But I'd love to see this button on the actual frame buffer also, would be so handy.

Hi all.


In Vray I believe the correct way is to have the liquid model intersect the container (glass) slightly, this seems to give the incorrect result in Corona? Unless I'm mistaken.


What's the best way to create this setup in Corona?
