Hi,

Another small but potentially dangerous one - If you hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc (to bring up the task manager) while the CoronaVFB window is focused it will kill your render as if you just hit Esc on its own.

This does not happen if any other window in 3ds max is currently in focus, including render setup dialog, mat editor, the main render progress dialog or any other part of the UI, as far as I can tell. Only the CoronaVFB.

We very frequently bring up the task manager to quickly check/change affinities etc. during renders so this one could be nasty... obvious short-term work-around is to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and bring it up that way, or via task bar.

Forgot to mention: max 2016 sp1, corona latest daily build 24th sept.

Cheers,

Strange but it works a bit different for me: it allow me to hit ctrl+shift+esc without stopping the render, and then Corona stops if I press esc to close task manager.

Which Windows are you using?
win7 here

Windows 8.1 Pro here. For me it happens as soon as I press Esc at all with the VFB focused.

For me pressing Esc while task manager is focused kills Corona VFB too. Does it happen for you too?
