Nice one !

the last Gamma operator you add at the bottom, it's just for personnal taste and to add more contrast ?

luts from RED output to rec709 display - gamma 2.4 - this last gamma layer converts to 2.2 display like default Corona.

Small question, why do you need to add the reinhard on top before converting to Log3g10 ?
Would it not be possible to do a linear -> Log3g10 directly ?

there is more Corona weirdness in the lut support for .cube format with input range beyond 0-1. I mean more than gamma issue. you would need another lut (or even gamma adjustment + lut) to correct for that. waste of time.
Reinhard (or Reinhard plus gamma) is just convenient way of getting the colours into 0-1f range (for the simple .cube lut), easy to do in pretty much every post software.

RED version looks better imo: more details in shadows, more contrast. The weird thing is that some areas are not rendered in the same colour at all. Look on the right, the "COFFEE" neon signage: Red tends to render it blue when ACESOT renders it pink. The same goes on the left for the area around the guitar.

display transforms from RED give you more options out of the box:
4 presets for contrast
4 presets for highlight roll-off.

and creative looks are quite nice addition (you can also use any Log3G10 lut you can find).

AgX needs more input from user (contrast).

Thanks!

probably a 3ds question, but where do you select the "looks" (i mean the one you've set up with the red creative lut) with ocio ?
