Title: Musqu House
Post by: GabrielFP on 2022-06-14, 00:14:06
Hello.

I wanted to share my latest personal project. Everything is quite standard in its development. The only aspect that could be more interesting are the fabrics of the interior furniture, as they have all been created using corona scatter which I think is the best workflow for this kind of fabrics. I hope you like it.

If you have any comments, I would love to hear them.

Software used: Corona render, 3dsmax, Adobe Photoshop.

If you want to see the complete project you can see it at:

Damn dude. These are stunning.

Yep, the only thing that sticks out is the couch fabric, could use some attention. I like the scatter workflow for the carpet (I use it too) but those footprints are a bit too much :)

Well done.

Edit: Upon further inspection, that throw rug you have looks amazing! Also scatter I guess?

These are looking so beautiful! Very poetic imagery! You have any tips for the amazing couch fabric? how many scatterings do you have on it?

I agree the coach is not perfect. It has been a balance between realism and performance. I started with a fairly complex model for the scatter but I quickly realized that my computer couldn't handle it, so I had to simplify things and lost realism in the process.

Thank you!

The setup is quite simple. It's just two scatters, one with some type of ball with hair on top and the other with simple hairs. The scatter is set to grid mode and with a texture that controls the scale. As I said in the previous comment I had to simplify the base scatter so the objects look a bit weird
