I did some comparative tests of new renderers.
For the tests I used the exact same scene and tried to keep the same conditions.
Only GI feature

RedShift

max 3 GI bounces

1. Progressive mode


2. BF+irr.point cloud (importons or vraylike "lighcahe"


Very blured details

3. Irr.Map+Irr.pcloud



MtoA (Arnold)

Diffuse bounce = 3



Corona renderer

build 17/09

try corona's current build, it is much faster ;)
Rendering is magic.How to get minidumps for crashed/frozen 3ds Max | Sorry for short replies, brief responses = more time to develop Corona ;)

You have lot of time :- ) Interesting the RedShift. The blurry BF/Importons looks just fine for animation.
I like this type of comparison, no matter if they're fair or not. It's just interesting to watch. I wouldn't mind Kray, Maxwell 3, Thea, a whatnot to see as well.
