these look awesome.
Would not like to turn that gear though! What is that chainring a 70T?

This is a 3d model, a fictional scale model, in the scale of motorcycles 1:12.

therefore, all the details here are not made on the scale of the real world, but taking into account the small scale, the scale model.

so for example, in real scale, the spoke has a diameter of 2-1.8 mm. if you reduce it on a scale of 1:12, you get 0.16mm, this is the thickness of 2 human hairs. such spokes cannot be made in a scale model in real life, so I increase their scale. the same with the chain, chainrings, bolts and other small details.

So many times i see how artist simply takes pre-made 3D model, scales it down and pretends it's a miniature scale model. It's nice to see that you took care of minute details, such as correct proportions of scale model. Good job!

Agree. And tho it's not my style I honestly appreciate such attention to detail.
But just a bit too perfect. No paint thickness, w/o any other marks of human intervention, room is cleaner than a hi-tech science lab ;)

yes, I understand what you mean. I follow many modelist on Instagram. I can see their workingplaces.
my work is no longer about realism but about bicycles, about fixed gear culture. everything else is just decoration.
I used to make a bike in normal scale (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/JP5Aa (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/JP5Aa)), but I'm going to do it for too long. So I decided to make bikes in freestyle, cartoon style. So I can do a lot more. my goal is to make a lot of frames and components.
