Hello

I'm to make my room using C4D and Corona. I'm already stuck.
How would you guys go about making a floor texture that looks like this -> https://goo.gl/photos/WvYDHcPkK65yzpq79 ?

When i try you can see that it is just a picture :/ and it looks too flat :(

This is what I would do

1. Tile and normalize the texture like this


2. Desatureate the image like this


3. (This is Max related, don't know if C4D has falloff) Create a falloff map and plug the color version into slot 1 and 2. The settings would look something like this.


4. Plug the desaturated version into Bump and Displacement, play around with the settings until it looks right.

5. Shader setup, haven't played with Bump / Displacement values.


I would try to get a crisper image though, it looks very de-noised. Almost painterly.

Nice gotta try that :D Gonna have a look in the C4D material settings for the stuff you mentioned, Thanks!
