Not in the roadmap yet, but  from what i heard in the cg garage postcast that Ondra and Jaroslave had, they've had a lot of things to work in.

If i am not mistaken they need to implement bucket rendering for this to work

For me this and memory usage are my biggest concerns with the engine.

So is it hard to implement as maxdaiber suggested?

I am not seeing this in trello roadmap for v3, even though Ondra said this is priority a while back.

As a vfx guy this is the biggest feature I am missing right now.

This is still high priority for us, but we had to move it to v4 or later. Sorry for that.
