I decided to try to remake the "chrome kitchen" from Black-house, in corona-renderer.
2 hours render. PT16+HD1024

Original

Both nice, Corona version is more realistic.

Looks good. Some materials needs work imo. Also softer AA should help. Its too sharp. Anyway, good job.
PS : Markus Otto Benjamin Brosdau did same kitchen, here is the image (Maxwell render)
Maybe those images should be helpful/inspirational for you. I`d like to see same quality from corona ;)
All images = (c) Benjamin Brosdau / Taken from Maxwell Render`s forum .

First person to "redo" it in 3D was actually Bernard Brosdau, who was the only who would credit its origin since it's actually 100perc. remake of POLIFORM catalogue photo. It's not Chrome kitchen and it was dishonest to claim as design...
Anyway, I can only echo Mike, the reference renders from Otto are beyond amazing, the cleanness, and generally very convincing materials (esp. the metal).

Does Corona currently support something likeWARD shading mode for proper metal anisotropics ? Or the default material is capable of equal result ? Does it even need it ?

It was Benjamin Brosadu. Anyway, i did mistake. Images are from him, not Markus. I had them in wrong folder. Thanks Juraj ;)

Lol, I really thought twice before writting his name incorrectly anyway. BB and BB..
Good to know, I didn't know he made additional shots, I am gonna search a bit about this. He and Purerender are just silent.

the default BRDF is capable of producing good anisotropic materials
