Can I use the multi shader on clones? I have a simple roof tile setup and would like to add a small amount of colour and displacement variation. I thought perhaps the multi shader would do the trick but I can't find the right combination of settings. Maybe I need to make instances of the roof tiles instead... It just seems lots more work.
I'm using Corona v7 and R24 — Thanks

Just found the Mesh Element Mode and that seems to be the winner!

UPDATE: If soumeone could explain why it seems to work if there is another material below it, but not is it is the only material on the object that would be ace. I'm still confused.

And to build on this, displacement should also work here too.
