Yes, there are some bugs with this tag... i.e. if you disable 'Seen by GI' there will be no shadows ;)
Can't remember if there's a bug report but i think developers are aware of it.
Check on Mantis.

Cinema users:
- "Look at camera" tag orients an object towards an Active Camera. You can have any number of cameras staged.
- "Target" tag orients an object towards set Target Object.
All parameters can be animated & controlled with XPresso.

This reminds me, doesn't Max have Creation Graph?  Should be possible to make it happen.

Yeah, they come a bit dirty from the shop. Tho, if you're able to dwell into, it gives much more  than any other version before. God mode on ;)

Chair is nicely done and detailed, other things not so much and as such make image unbalanced.

Another note:
It is No. 788 Bresso chair by Thonet workshops (for many years the only one allowed to make bent wood furniture in the Austro-Hungarian empire).
This one is No.14 Vienna chair...

Corona will not report if it ran out of RAM. As your problem sounds like it.
Look at task manager "Performance / Memory" to see. If it hits the top and stays there without rendering, get more RAM or render in tiles/parts/regions then stitch together.

BTW
300 dpi for DIN A0 is an overkill. Have done quiet a number of architectural posters dim. DIN B1 @ 150 dpi without notice or any complaint (substance, surface and colors are far more important)... based on viewing distance here's a reference table:

[Max] I need help! / Re: Corona 1.4 & Caustic
« on: 2016-06-16, 00:35:51 »
Very nice results.

Does it work in C4D version? Is engine on pair?

@giona4
What do you use for edges (modeling, shader...)?
Looking good.

Here's simple scene test, rendered with BD/VCM (BD-PM option is not available), caustics for material on, lighting sun+sky only, water surface displaced. Resulted in fireflies and much darker refraction than w/o caustics. Should report a bug?

Edit/Note:
Done with Corona for Cinema 4D Alpha version: A6 daily Jun  2 2016 (core 1.4 DailyBuild Feb 11 2016) - reported on Mantis (ID 1984)

Welcome
&Hi...
... here, you can check materials for real, 'cuz visuals feel a bit sterile and dull. It is harder to achieve pristine look of modern minimalistic apartment. Much more elaborate work on materials and shading needed. Keep it up.

I made some changes and have been able to update the scene and material export, but I was having issues with the render starting. I don't know why this is. The standalone application will launch a scene just fine if I use the command line, but it'll just hang and never start rendering when launched from Blender. I can commit the WIP code to the repository, but I don't know that it'll do you much good right now. A lot of features are disabled because of the new format -

-Material nodes
-Motion blur of any kind
-The new compressed binary object format (which would allow deformation motion blur)
-UI exposure of the new UHD cache properties (though how much really needs to be exposed anyway?). It's set as the integrator by default, and changing the option in the UI doesn't alter that.
-None of the new "maps" for materials are included.

Edit: I'm attaching a VERY developmental version of the addon updated with my changes to date.
