Hi guys
Here's some shots of the dining room in my refurbishing of an old apartment in Copenhagen.
Hope you like it! Next up: The Living Room :)

What is the lighting setup for the windows? Do you have hdri or sun any light portals? Or just corona light plane with everything off or on. I mean effect reflections visible directly? Can you be more specific:)? Great work man

Thank you :)
It's just a HDRI with very little tweaks in it's output channel. Nothing fancy I'm afraid. No extra light planes or any portals
Bloom & Glare was used and a lot of test renders/tweaking of exposure etc in the frame buffer. + some adjustments in photoshop to get a look I was happy with.

thank you :)

For me it's really hard to achieve this nice clean look with an overall uniform lighting feel.
When you say "very little tweaks" I imagine a shit load of things, would it be possible to share a little more information about this settings?
Sorry to bother you with that, it's just that is really hard to find the things to settle my own workflow.

No bother at all, I'm happy to "help" :)
There is really nothing to it (the tweaks in the HDRI) and it is not what makes/brakes it. As I stated above, I do spend a lot of time on test renders trying out different rotations of the HDRI, exposure settings, Bloom & Glare settings etc. And all of my images go through photoshop for that final boost. You can get far now directly in the framebuffer with curves and LUTs, but I still very much depend of fine tuning/cheating in photoshop. Google's free NIK plugin is fantastic: https://www.google.com/nikcollection/ (https://www.google.com/nikcollection/)

If there's anything else you are curious about, just ask ;)

Thanks for the reply!
I'll definitely give it a try on lighting setup. I know it sounds strange, but as an vray user, Corona just seems strange sometimes (i know, i know, it's way easier and the principles are the same - but maybe I have to re-check my understanding of the principles)

is one hanging wire of the light over the table a lighter color to purposefully make it look like it is floating magically? I hope so, because I like the illusion it creates. Nice Images

The lamp is suspended by two very thin steel wires. So yeah, they are hard to see in at this angle/lighting scenario. The black wire is the electrical one and it's running along one of the thin steel wires.
Thanks man :)
