Did you set the light mix in a proper way?
Are you using the denoiser and if so did you check if you applied it to every light mix passes.
Did you check if the environment is excluded on the other lights passes?
Would you save some screen shot?
In any case the light mixer looks more noisy compare with the beauty pass.

Nice mate, it looks very interesting, the render quality is good and also you can go through the detail about the products.
Maybe I would use a little more glossiness on some material.
It is a really good way to deliver a interior project though.
What tools did you use for the pano navigation?
How long it take to create everything?

Bye!

Morning guys, I have realised that there is a problem with some geometry/light.
As You can see there is a light flickering in the boot, I don't know if this is because I'm using a IES profile or there is some geometry related problem.
I'll check it.

bye.

Maybe I have done something wrong, I am resetting everything and I am re rendering over night. I'll update you tomorrow.

Cheery bye!

OK basically I can not go under 4 min per frame using DR, since the other PC in the network are not sending any passes before my machine reach the noise value I have defined (4%)
I have 7 machines plus mine.
Average render time is 4-5 min per machine, so this does mean that if I was able to send every frame to any other machine using BB I would have 7 frames rendered every 4/5 min.
At the moment I have got just 1 every 4Min.

Is there anyone able to find a solution for what I am trying to achieve?

Thanks for your help.

First time I used standard animation settings, UHD flickering free, precision=1 and I notice an evident flickering, I supposed because different machine is taking different frames so there is not consistency in the calculation of the GI.
I am not using Distribuite render but I am assigning every frame to different machine.
I will post a quick test soon.

Hi guys, here is my question.
I am going to render an animation, it was great to see that the render time was about 3 min per frame (PT+UHD), but then I realised that using back burner was producing flickering.
In order to use BB I try to use PT+PT rather that choosing Distribute render because is not really the best way to cut time for an animation.
But PT+PT In this case it take too long too clean the images.
So I tried to find a way to precalculate the UHD in order to avoid the flickering.
Now, if I set under the corona render setup window the active time segment (1400 Frames ) plus every 5 frames and under UHD cache setting Animation(flicker-free) and calculate from scratch plus save to file.
Corona is overwriting the same file again and again.
What's wrong with my settings?
I did search for some explanation but I haven't found anything.

Thanks!

Hi NeTz3d, that is just noise, you have to keep rendering unless the noise is less visible, this may take ages because you have a lot of glass in there.
There si nothing to do, unless you want try to reduce the GI quality or try to clamp your GI.
Keep in mind that the denoiser is not a miracle tools, and is not keeping a regular behaviour through multiple frames, that is not flicker is a random pattern of the denoiser.
Alternatively if you use AE you can beneficial of using some tool for denoising that is based on multiple frame in order to keep the cleaning process consistent.

Ciao!

Thanks for your comment guys, I understand photography more than what the test show.
Often even in advertising you see incoherent element that coexist.
Why, because is an artistic licence, that's it.
I have chosen to keep the bg sharp on purpose ad I have chosen to see to wheel blurred.
Is more about the mood of the light and colours also is a 4 hour exercise.
I' m not sure what is the "distracting overlay" and yes I don't like the far blurriness in the distance, that is very annoying.
The other light lamp trail are on the Bg photo I used and are created by car going in the same direction.

Cheers for your comment, I am not sure about the laser, I used 6 animated light and a very slow shutter speed, it could have been done in Photoshop, but I like the idea of doing as much as I can straight in max.
So quick task just a free morning in the office.
cheery bye!

Hello Strohkopf, I try.
Firstly is not that bad, Is a good start, what you can improve is:
1.The general quality of the materials, everything is too consistent.
The parquet floor is flat and smooth, looks like a fake cheap vinyl floor.
The black ceiling perforated panel as well, too consistent, use some kind of big size noise in the bump plus some reflection maybe?.
Never use white colour with high value, usually I don't go over 160/170 on the Gray scale.
Try to use slightly different tone for the white, in fact you will never find a perfect neutral white anywhere.
2. I recognise that the big lights in the parquet area are probably too strong, what are the value in Lumens?
3. Try to use where possible the IES profile in order to get ore realism and the exact light behaviour.
4.Always use different Temperature for the lights.
The light coming from outside should be blueish and not that orange, unless you have a very strong sun bouncing.
5. try to build a more believable ceiling lamp, you will never have a white circle like that.
6. The glass in the frame in the back looks missing.
7. Try to position the stools in a random way, and the pills on the big staircase as well.
8. Avoid sharp edges like in the gear over the bar.
9. Try to contrast a little bit the image by tone mapping.
10. Revise the camera position for the general composition, in this case the bar is fighting with the other half of the image, try to create a order of importance.

That's it!
