I have this error -> vcruntime140.dll ;
(Window 8.1)

Previous post (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=12041) suggests that reinstalling the Visual C ++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 may remedy the problem. Let us know if that works for you!

I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 and everything is fine!

Where can we find the link for alpha 4? roadmap at trello says that it was released yesterday (2019-10-07), but I don't see a download link anywhere...

still the same error here. I install the vc redist 2015 x86 and x64, but why the x64version automatic change to 2017?

there is the same problem...C++2015 can not be installed because newer version.
Any idea?

Uninstall the 2017 version,then install the latest one :

Just install the 2019 one. Do not need to uninstall anything.
