Work in Progress/Tests / playing with marble & SSS
« on: 2015-03-03, 15:46:22 »
Hi all,

with some lights and a good model, i'm playing with SSS, it's really great.

12 min for 1080p, i guess it could be less for render time but for now i don't dig that way.

Regards.

100% fake ? it's jalousy speaking :) ? i'm kidding (or not !)

Inchiology : Congrats, it's just amazing. The plastic is amazing, i mean translucency, in fact everything is great :)
If you want to close the debate just put another render with another angle of camera...

Now, if this thread it's just an affirmation and not a conversation, ok, so be it !

ok ok sorry, understood. I'm french and i just not understand all the post.
So to answer to your post, i think it's a good thing but for the non english people on the forum, it's sometimes not really easy to explain and to give a critic of the image and some other who doesn't speak english at all are just glad to encourage some artist with just a "great work".

Regards.

I agree but not agree, it's a little bit elitist.
Basically you're saying that people who doesn't know Corona render, should not post pictures ?
I thought it was a community site, so yes we maybe need a thread with the best of the gallery like CGtalk ?
I mean you can't ask people not to post image when they learn Corona, if so i guess the reputation of this site will fall in a week !!
I understand what you mean but don't you think your post wil be misunderstood ?

Yes the chroma aberration was done in nuke.

For each vegets, there is a little bit of absorption in it.

Here's a sample.

Hi Cecofuli,

Hi guys,

first of all, I LOVE THIS RENDERER !!! I've discovered Corona since 4 or 5 hours for now and it's just amazing !!!
I've just taken an old vray scene and done a quick lighting and 7 min later, the render is really good for my bad lighting !!! :)

i'm gonna dig this scene with more details and some more research on lighting but, it's really really impressive for the time !!
