It's probably not related to the issue, but i noticed that you're normal map node is in incorrect position. When using it in combination with triplanar and/or mapping randomizer, it should be set up as input for those maps, not output.

Hi,

Did you try to enable reflection on the vertically oriented shadow catcher? In reflection properties set level to 1.0 fresnel IOR to 999.0 and glossiness to 1.0

Indeed, it's not necessary to split the same project into multiple topics. I merged them together. If you'll want to show more renders from this project, please attach them in this topic. Thanks.

You can achieve this flat shading effect, but it's quite limiting and in no way is cell/toon shading replacement. First you make sure that there's no other lighting in your scene except ambient environment, then set its colour to pure white and disable tone mapping in the VFB. Prepare the material as follows - disable reflection, plug the same colour map in base color (diffuse) and self-illumination slots, set self-illum multiplier to 1.0 Render.

Care to give more detailed explanation about the issue? I have no idea what you're trying to achieve.

I had very similar issue few years ago with 3ds Max taking excessively long to save the files. I think i was on Max 2016 at that time. I couldn't find solution on my own, but someone from Corona forum users told me how to fix it. Unfortunately i can't remember what it was, nor the name of my saviour (i suspect it could be either Frood, or pokoy). Hopefully they will see this topic and will share their insight with you.

To be honest, this looks pretty normal to me. If you want more sharpness, you can always sharpen the image in Corona VFB, or saving it to the disk and bringing to photoshop or other program for post-processing. Alternatively you can reduce image filter radius in render settings, or turn it off completely, although i don't think it will have significant effect on sharpness.

I think tiling is already implemented via real-world scale mapping support.

It appears to me that the render in your screenshot is zoomed in beyond 1:1. Make sure that you're always looking at your picture at 100% zoom when you want to evaluate its sharpness.

I didn't try this myself, but i think you can remove 3ds Max integration in Connecter itself - integrations>3ds Max integration installer>uninstall

This is expected behaviour. If you want Chaos scatter to respect distributed objects' scale, you need either reset those objects' transforms, or if you want non-destructive approach, you can select preserve model scale in scatter options (the checkbox is visible in Benzvision's screenshot).

I don't think you can do something like this with Corona tiles map, but you could use 3ds Max array modifier to create small patch of tiles and then project it on surface with Corona pattern modifier. This method is slightly more involved, but it's much more flexible and would give you superior result.

It's not the length of animation that's bothering me, it's that it looks very unrealistic, which stands in stark contrast compared to the rest of the animation.
