Why are you using translucency = 1. Tried 0,1 or 0,3 first? And if your geometry has thickness, then I think there might be some heavy bouncing taking place inside of it.
Your translucency color is white... so translucent component will be white... if you need translucent color to be same as diffuse, you need to put same map into translucency color as well...
but set translucency fraction to 1.0,the object innerside can't receive lights,still dark than outsid,why?
