Hi guys, I did a new animation with 3ds Max/Corona Renderer 9 and tested the new cloud system. My computer rendered for 10 hours for this 10-second animation.
System
i7 12700k
RTX 2060 OC
48GB Ram

Hmm, it seems to work quite well when the sun size is set to 1 and "shadowing from clouds" is enabled. Maybe the animation was rendered with an older build?

The yacht was so big that it would took half a day to walk from one end to another :D

Maybe next time try to animate phase parameter in the sky map, so the clouds would look less static.

The moment the sun went behind the clouds, it disappeared in an instant. It was not a homogeneous disappearance, so I tried to render and combine the sun in a different way while editing. Thanks for the comments I tried to do a simple test :) I will pay attention to the problems you mentioned.
