Hi everyone,

Recently I opened a scene made with VRay. As I don't have any VRay license myself, I wanted to use the Corona converter in order to convert the scene for Corona renderer.
But it didn't work: materials were not converted into Corona materials as I expected.

Does it mean I have to buy a VRay license to convert scenes from Vray to Corona?
Or can I just use a trial VRay license instead?

Thank you guys,

You don't even need to have a working license, but you have to have V-Ray installed. Without it the converter has no way of knowing what V-Ray material is in the first place.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

Yes, just install V-Ray, the trial is fine, even when it expires the converter will continue to convert - so long as V-Ray is there for our converter to use to read the V-Ray materials. So, no purchase necessary, just an install :)
