Hi guys,

In the new Corona 12 Daily Build (17 Jan 2024), none of the Denoising realtime options work in full rendering process, in IR is perfectly fine.
Please let me know if is a bug or not.

Hi, I am not able to repro this on my end using the same build with 3ds Max 2024.2. Can you give us some more info with repro steps so we can try reproducing the same issue on our end?

Hi, can you check if you get any different results using 3ds Max Native sun and Sky and rendering with scanline render? If you are getting any different results in the previous version of Corona or using different sky models, feel free to let me know, and we can investigate it further.

I was able to repro the same issue on my end with 3ds Max 2023 and 2024 + Corona 11 HF 1.

I have logged it further in our system to be further investigated by our devs. We will let you know if there are any updates on this.

IDP.Generic is 'Identity Protection', so when a security application detects a threat called IDP. Generic, it indicates that it was detected by this component (Identity Protection), which generalized a detected file. This detection is often a 'false positive' and is not tied to a specific virus signature. this can sometimes occur with legitimate files, especially after an update, because the behavior of the file or its new signature may not yet be recognized as safe by the antivirus program.

To make sure it's a false positive, you can check the file on VirusTotal. If VirusTotal reports it clean, you can safely whitelist the file in Avast.

A user who had the same problem fixed it by reinstalling 3ds Max and all its plugins. They made sure to delete any files that were left behind.

According to user, these were the steps that he took:

1. Uninstall 3ds Max and Plugins: Everything related to 3ds Max, and its plugins was completely uninstalled.
2. All folders related to 3ds Max, including any residual files, were deleted.
3. Delete the Corona Folder in Program Files.
4. Re-install 3ds Max and Corona. (Latest version)

I have the same problem on 3Ds max 2023....I uninstalled it then I installed 3Ds max 2024 , corona , vray & phoenix  from scratch. Keep getting the same problem....
Loading Corona assets
It sais 100% but its frozen.....In task manager sais that 3Dsmax is running... I did a factory reset but nothing!!!
Any ideas????

Can you confirm if you are using 3ds Max 2024.2 and Corona 11 HF 1?

I am not sure what do you mean by Volumetric does not have alpha. Are you doing something different than me?
