Translucency has the lobe centered around inverse normal, refraction around ideal refraction direction ;). If you dont care which one to use, use always translucency.

Velocity: It will be added sometimes in the future, Unfortunately it wont be as easy as I hoped

Refraction glossiness on twosided glass: because the rays enter and immediately leave the material, they dont have chance to spread (they have 0 length, so it does not matter what the IOR or glossiness is) - therefore the parameter has no effect. To simulate thin frosted glass, either model it with thickness and use solid glass, or use 1 plane geometry with solid glass and IOR 1. In either case, the shadows optimizations cannot be done, so its not very suitable for for example windows.

guys from vray were willing to share their curve, so its possible to do exact match. But Corona uses different BRDF model by default, so it still needs to be guessed :/

I've made some improvements in DOF sampling, but its still quite slow in this type of scene - blurring directly visible lights will probably always be hard. Also, to get best convergence, don't use custom bokeh shapes with gray values, only black & white. In the example you are using colored one, which gets translated to gray. Espetially shapes with very dark gray would take ages to clear up.

Nice render (only there seem to be some leaks in the interior, and the empty steering wheel is weird ;)), and, most importantly, nice render time ;). Its great to see that the motion blur can handle production scene reasonably.

And there is a reason why everyone presents their GPU ray tracers on car scenes. Cars just render so fast ;)

Ok, I've fixed what I can from this thread.

Open issues:

- Viewport set to Corona Sun display does not crash now, but displays nothing. I am not sure what it should display, and how to change it, so I'll leave it

- Sharp edges: those are from shading/geometry discrepancies when using sharp light near grazing angles. I am not sure if that could be fixed. I dont know any solution, you'll have to make the geometry denser, when this appears.

- Crash with multitexture: I'll probably need to contact the developer of the plugin. It requires certain informations Corona is not storing to conserve memory. I'll probably need to add them later anyways.

I haven't either, but it looks like good idea, and helps you to keep track of the releases/lets other download it easily. You should also specify a licence, so the scripts can be safely used. I recommend Apache licence, if you dont mind other making their own versions of the script ;)
