Hi, I'm working on typical villa exterior archviz scene and have some problems with parsing times.
The scene is setup with animated sun so that in each frame i have different sun positions for different cameras.
Everything works ok until vegetation proxys are added in scene. Parsing times are around 2 seconds on frame 0 but as soon as I change to any other frame parsing time jumps to 30 seconds or more depending on total number of different proxies.
So I tested this in new scene. I used simple white environment and a subdivided box to act as a high poly vegetation, no materials, textures, lights.
The results are in attached image, it makes no difference if proxy animation is enabled or not.
Another thing I noticed is that if you change some parameters on proxy object on for example frame 5 than that frame renders with fast parsing time and all other frames including 0 have longer parsing times.
According to all this to keep parsing times lower it's best not to use proxies or to use them without keep in memory option active.... this is a bit counter-intuitive
Similar thing is discussed here:
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=14716.0The suggestion is to keep proxy animation disabled but this makes no difference in my test.
So I'm not sure if this is maybe a bug or just the way max works, maybe someone with more knowledge could explain this further.
I'm using Corona 5. Scene is tested in max 2018, max 2020 and on i7, xeon and threadripper machines.
Thanks
