absolutely awesome, really great job
-
OMG, at 2K it almost indistinguishable from photo. Superb job!
-
I love it ! Every single bit. We can feel it was shot just after the rain, when the sky starts to clear up. Fog starts to fade off and will give way to a beautiful sunny day. Lighting is top notch.
I would be curious to know a bit more on your approach for building that scene (reference, framing, render, post...). Really well executed, congrats !

Amazing renders...Very detailed and nice materials. feeling this scene. Congratulation for great job.
-
Thanks for the replies, Glad you like it
I don't have a specific reference for this, I started by googling Street after rain, london morning etc..
Here is clay render
(http://i67.tinypic.com/fdsx6x.jpg)
It started like this last week. First I made the pavement and roads, Tuned the materials and lights and get a decent look;

After that I build the surrounding buildings and other details.

Great, well done!
-
Its absolutely fantastic but its honestly the most geographically confusing picture ive ever seen haha. London doesnt have yellow school buses, school crossing signs and fire hydrants!
-
haha exactly; I was confused too. I started with new york reference; then paris and london. I didnt had a plan
I want the newyork schoolbus, london bicycle and the paris streetllights :p
-
It's a city with something for everyone from everywhere :)
-
Superb images and materials.
-
This is insane quality!
How long did you spent on it approximately?
-
that's an awesome render! congrats!
did you use fog?
and the interiors behind the windows, are those 3d objects interior or just a windows texmap? once I used a texmap to reduce the render time but I cant make it looks as good as yours :)
-
I think I spent approximately 50 hours. Most of time spent was thinking what to do due to lack of a plan
Yes Fog is used.
Interior of the Costa is 3d, but the pizza interior is just textmap applied to a plane with light material. The plane is inside and there is also window with glass material so it looks like 3d
-
...The plane is inside and there is also window with glass material ...
ok I got it, many thanx for the tips :)
-
I love the wet ground materials, so nice to look at.

Amazing set of images, How long did it take from start to finish and what softwares did you use? would be great to see a "making of" tutorial for this. Corona should implement a page for that, much like over at Ronen Bekerman, might as well, the corona community is so big and the 3D artists here are too good.
-
We use our blog for "making of" type articles :) https://corona-renderer.com/blog/ Of course there are also company / artist profile type articles on there too, but it's our place for sharing such things.

Thanks
I think it took about 50 to 60 hours. Only used max and photoshop; Photoshop was only used to add some contrast. LUT in corona itself did a wonderful job.
I will make a "making of" when I get some spare time. I will post it in the tutorials section.

That's a good one! Fire hydrants, yellow buses, but I bet most of you missed one important fact!

Maashaa allaaah... BROOOO......hats off ....
i want try diz one..if you can help me?
-
wow really great job!
i think displacement on the cobblestones is a little bit off. maybe try to make the noise flatter and bigger. its too spikey, and you see it especially at the bottom left corner.
but wow very detailed the whole image. great :D

Nice tutorial, mvshabeer :)
What was the dimension for the road? I am guessing 3000mm by 10,000mm?

Also - another subtle giveaway apart from the not so subtle ones - you don't see many of those aircon boxes outside london buildings. We don't need aircon so much, because it's more likely to be raining than hot (so you got that bit right) :)
Great work anyway. I like that it's a fantasy mix of different places once you look a bit closer.
-
Saying congratulations it's not good enough..... Bravo!

Amazing!!!
