Corona 3 RC2 seems to makes whole 3ds max menus to be unresponislbe and gray - when loading , when the render button has been pressed.
IR loading time is longer with Corona 3 than Corona 2.
Opening the very same scene with Corona 2 is faster than with Corona 3.
RAM consumption with Corona 3 is way higher - 20 % at loading and rendering same scene.
Scene has  immense use of assets and most textures are native 3ds max bitmap, not corona bitmap. This could be the culprit here.
Attached two images showcasing the RAM consumption. Displacement has been disabled.

Similar problem, Corona3 consumes more RAM than Corona2
Is it possible in the future to implement a function like the Vray  "dynamic memory limit"? A long render is better than not getting results.

Yes, without hardcore sugar, everything works much faster! )
In general a many of overlapping refractive objects cause this problem.
I understand that this is an individual problem, a rare case. And I think it can be bypassed in a fake way .. But I hope that in the future it will be taken into account for optimization purposes.
It would be nice

Thank you very much!

Turning off the refraction feel will affect the quality of the material loss of realism.
In the previous version it was possible, in the new one no longer? :(

109
This scene I started doing in Corona 1.6, in 1.7 I continued аnd in 2, I uploaded the scene, ran the render and "turned pale" :)

110
The scene was sent to you on the Dropbox, I hope you got it.
Yes, this test did for you on Corona 3, but it was noticed by me for Corona 2. I expected similar problems for others, but they were not, today I decided to write about it.

This has been checked, the noise goes away for a very long time.
In the render settings is "Noise Level Limit: 3.0"
If from each pass the noise went away faster the problem was not. The noise lasts longer. and that would wait for the noise level of 3% I need to wait 4 times longer.

I Send you File.

112
No problem! I sent you this scene

113
In the beginning I want to thank you for the wonderful render, and the work that you are doing!

I have this problem
On an example of this heavy scene a lot of SSS material. Corona 1.7 visually, the noise goes much faster, Corona 2 counts four times longer.
This scene in the format 1920x1920 when the renderer writes will be counted as 70 hours !!! Instead of 16 !!! :(

Example 640x640

Hello!
Found an error in CoronaBumpConverter, the bamp is not correctly displayed when mirroring is mapped.

For me it gives expected results. What build is this?

Checked on your latest version Corona 2.0 dailyDuildd May 19.2018. I guess this problem is still conferred by Corona 1.7.

I have the same problem when there is hair in a heavy scene.

Perhaps in the future to do in the camera such a tool as the exclusion of the object from the clipping? Sometimes it is necessary to cut off only the walls and not touch the floor lamp or sofa.

When adding Ornatrix modifier, an unexpected error occurs when I press the render button. The error remains when adding a modifier CoronaHairMod

My favorite tradition is to return to my old works and bring them to the desired level to date.
A week for setting up materials and a twelve hour render for each frame.
I tried to make it as realistic as possible, which could not be distinguished from the photo. Much has been emphasized from the work done on the adjustment of metals, and he created textures for himself.
Enjoy watching.

(Sorry my bad English google translate)
