render scene in c4d picture viewer- denoising- post- pocess ;) So far everything is fine. During rendering the edit in the postprocess is fine. After render, clicks in postprocess and c4d picture viewer is irreversibly black...

Hello!

Today I had similar issue. I put my scenes cameras to C4D Render queue. One picture was good, but the other was totaly black. I've rendered it again in VFB with the same result. Without bloom and glare the black screen disappeared, but there is some black squares in the image.
I've tried to render it without denoising, there is no black squares. When I've checked VFB with right click there is nan on mapped RGB.

Looks like denoiser issue, NaNs (not a number - black spots).
One would need to take a look at the file or check that glass material.

I am having a similar issue. Sept 5 build. Rendering an animation. Of my 200 frames I rendered, when it gets to pass 5 out of 25, it just goes black. I thought maybe it was hitting a light in my scene as my camera moved through it, but it's not the case because I deleted the light and it did the same thing. Also I turned off denoising and am still having the same issue.

I tried to render without that glasses and everything is perfect! There were standard C4d materials on them, maybe it cause the problem! Thanks for the idea!

Even a fly can cause chaos. The butterfly effect.

I have encountered a similar issue in the 3ds Max version today. Logged in the internal tracker as "1.7 RC7 - black vfb issue". Also using denoising.

Closing this, as it's a core issue. Please don't hesitate any similar future bugs though! Thanks
