Loved the roadmap blog update. The transparency is great.

I wonder what the port to OSX means. Is it simply that Corona for C4D will be available on OSX? Or, will all future plugins for software available on OSX be cross-platform as well?

I know it may be early to ask but I'm dying to know.

Thanks for any info.

It's a bit confusing, because that was the 3dsmax roadmap... and they said that the C4D roadmap will come later, so maybe this is regarding the possibility of using Linux or OsX machines as render nodes via standalone or via DR server, a bit confusing in the end.

Cheers.

It is very confusing, not just a little bit, considering there is no 3dsmax available on OSX or Linux :)

I would like to get an official answer on this Ondra/Adam, pretty pleeeeease :) thank you!

The core will get ported to mac. That is the first necessary step. Then plugins like C4D may follow.

Of course for C4D it will be the highest priority.

Does this mean that OSX API will get pushed over to another update once again (a.k.a. 1.5)? :)
