Hello,
When updating my Corona Renderer, I'm encountering the following problem and haven't found a solution so far.

After updating from Corona Renderer 9 (hotfix 2) to 9 (hotfix 3), I'm having issues with the scatter feature. The error message in the attached image appears.

I have searched the forum and the internet for solutions, but nothing has worked for me. What could be happening? Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Hi,

Please try uninstalling scatter, and re-running the Corona installer.

Cheers,

Rowan

Hi Rowan how are you?
I already did this procedure and it didn't work.
I did this procedure with 9(h3) and 10(rc1)

This happens for both 3dsmax versions 21 and 23

Thanks.

Hi,

That is really strange, in this case, I would suggest contacting our support team. They are much better at troubleshooting these kinds of issues then I am.

You can submit a ticket here, and someone will help you out :)

I agree with Rowan that in this case it would be best to submit a support ticket. Sorry for the trouble.

Update: This has been resolved and no more error occurs.

Latest Windows update has been installed, which most probably fixed the issue.

In cases alike, we highly recommend updating Windows to the latest version (double check if there are no more updates available), and optionally also update .NET Framework and MVSC++ Redistributable files.
More on it here.
See Solution 1 part.
