C4D crashes when I render a scene with corona sun

For what it's worth, I tried to replicate this crash following your exact steps, but could not.

Full-speed non-debug version

Version: 7 hotfix 2
Cinema version: R20.059 CINEMA 4D Studio

MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

For those that are still experiencing this issue, running the latest V8 daily build should resolve this issue. If you can please test it out and let us know, that would be great.

After years, the corona sun problem seems to have been solved with this version. I've been waiting for this for a long time, thanks corona team !
