Any chance I could also get the file over at support? Or do you wish to close the ticket and leave the discussion here?

I am more and more convince, that this issue will resolve trough displacement.  I am trying to replicate the actual texture, but i find procedural noise very difficult  to control.
Is it possible to translate a bitmap to a procedural noise?

I also wonder if this Glossy Falloff Curve could be important in my case. I really don't understand much of the technical terms, but my object is at an angle, and it sure has a micro structure, and i do have issues with getting the right reflectance. https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,7981.0.html

Any thoughts?

thank you.

you can control reflectance precisely by using render elements and compose it later in photoshop
as for procedural texture you could probably try to use the composite map to add some layers of details
any reference of exact texture you trying to achieve?

You should get reflections similar to the ones in the reference photos by having:
-low reflectivity (0,5?)
-very low reflective fresnel (1,1?)
-very low glossiness (0-0,2)

About the displacement - maybe this will be useful? http://www.sigerstudio.eu/shop/plugins-free/sigertexmaps-sigernoise/
It's an advanced noise map. You can use some complex cellular patterns, and you can also distort the noise using a different map (also bitmap).

I used something similar in my pancake render few posts earlier. 0.75 reflectivity, 1.15 fresnel, 0.35 glossiness. I used a noise modifier in bump channel (with 0.3 noise size) and vector displacement map made out of pancake diffuse texture.
