Whenever I try to render a scene in r21 using Intel CPU AI Denoising the render crashes. I'm using the latest version of Corona Render 4 (hot fix 3) on a Mac. If I switch to Corona high quality denoising then everything works fine. This happens with any scene I have or newly create. Is this a known issue?

The only good thing about a crash is it generates bug_report.txt that says exactly what was happening at the time - this lets developers take a look at precisely what crashed and why. Always good to send it in! See https://help.c4d.corona-renderer.com/support/solutions/articles/12000033461-how-to-report-issues-c4d on details of where to find it, link to the private uploader to send it in, etc. Thanks!

I have tested and rendered out the short animation. No crashing for me, Although I am using a PC so this may be solely related to a Mac issue. We will investigate further no doubt.

To add, If you are planning on doing animations, I would suggest switching to Corona denoising as AI is really designed for fast previews etc. More on that here:

The same thing happens to me, using macOS Catalina, R21, Corona Render 4 (hot fix 3). With Intel CPU AI Denoising the render crashes.

Hi everyone, could we get the BugReport.txt from when this crashes? This would help us locate the issue. Thanks a lot!

I did upload the Bug Report earlier. Do you need a new one?

Oh, OK. That's probably our mistake then. Let me double-check. Thanks for your quick response!
