Hello rozpustelnik !

For the lamps and for the bar stools I got Unwrapping (the main materials I've did in Quixel) the others I've used just a simple box mapping.
For the dust I've used the CoronaLayered materials with Z direction falloff for the masking and with curves in the output to change the intensity for the coat material blending. And there has a dirtymap on the slots. Basicly very easy to make it. On the floor there I've used only CoronaAO for the dust surface.

Hello steyin!

Thank you !
It was a very funny to make this renders and I've learned a lot.

Hello Bertrand,

really nice pictures as always, but may I ask why do you lighting up the original raw renders like this? With post-work you lost a lot of thiny and important details which is keept more the "3D feeling" on the raw renders. Those much more close to the photo, opposite with the post-worked. Those is much "flat" in shadows and lights...As I see.

Thanky and keep the good quality !

Janos

I always converting the 32bit exr to 16bits tiff and after to jpg. Ofcourse, you will lose so much details, but the clients normaly never see the diffrenties.  For any case I send the 16bit tif and the 8bit jpg for my clients. There is no occasion to not to do that...

Hi,

If you want to use the ZDepth pass, and your setup is correct, there just keep in your mind, you have a chance to tweek ( make another values) the ZDepth pass with Curves in Photoshop or in other "post" softwears!

This is just an 2cents by me...

Cheers body!

The booleans sometimes is really handy, but when you will learning the right topology and the right modeling methods, after you don't need the boolens operations, just really rarely. The problem with that, thats make always a lot unnecessary vert on the edges...But when you have to use text on the surface, than almost the only way...just after you have to make retopology...

If you modeling for 3D printing, the a normal booleans should be handy, much more than the proboolean.
