Hi,

I got some reed plants. They have flower tops (plums) that use a lot of single sided surfaces with opacity mask for the seeds in the plums.
When I get close to the plums they display (kind of) correct. But when moving back with the camera the plums get black. In the attached image you can see the same set up close and in the back of the image.
I replaced the material with a standard grey and that also kind of has the problem (not as visible though)

Is this solvable? Or should I simply replace the plum topts with real geometry? Could it be because there are too much intersecting single sided surfaces?
