@Jpjapers that's for our input! this plugin looks amazing.
but here we go support for cinema 4d at all. :o( cinema 4d is really a downside, when it comes to plugin support.

okay...thanks for the hint, romullus!
i gave it another try. it look okay. surely need to fine tune the settings.
but i'm still struggeling with a specific thing > still having parts, where ambient occlusion shouldn't be applied (see attached image).

by the way...i'm a c4d user. ;o)

[C4D] Feature Requests / dirt (streaks) like vray 5
« on: 2020-11-14, 10:45:20 »
hi all
i just watched a video on youtube about vray 5 and dirt map...

most of my 3d-work is architecture. dirty concrete is something i use regularely, especially making dirt steaks. at the moment i always end up to add them in photoshop manually.
i'm aware of "ambient occlusion" as a solution, but it is just not the same. vray dirt seems to be much more powerful and realistic.

question to the developers:
are there any thoughts about implementing this feature in the future?
when can we expect something similar in corona renderer to get same results?

thanks in advance & stay safe/healthy

great work @LasVegas!
may i ask how you rendered the people? ...sunlight on bodies, shadows on the ground?
a little insight in your workflow would be very nice! :o)

and...the final sky. is this the sky from the hdr or did you put another into the rendering in photoshop?
if it's the originally rendered hdr...which one did you use? collection?

thank you in advance :o)

[C4D] Feature Requests / uvw tiling randomization in v6?
« on: 2020-06-05, 16:11:27 »
hello corona-team & users
will "uvw tiling randomization" (see roadmap 3dsmax on trello) be features in v6 for c4d, too?

greetings, prince_jr

[C4D] Feature Requests / Re: Compositing tag with number

it would be very handy to differentiate the comositing tags in the explorer. think about have 20 different compositing tags, but assigned to multiple different objects.

hi maru

i have attached 2 examples of histograms.

here's an additional article. and it describes why a histogram is very a helpful tool when it comes to image postprocessing. ;o)

cool would be to see not only mode "rgb", but "red", "green", "blue", too (like capture one > 2nd image attached).

It seems there's no change in v6 daily build. Dropdown menu looks the same.

[C4D] Feature Requests / LUT-list
« on: 2020-03-20, 11:15:03 »
Hi corona users & devs

I came across something in the vfb. I don't know if it is a bug or just knowingly not programmed.
The LUT-list is unsorted > please see attached image.

If it's no would be really nice (in upcoming versions) to have...
1.  ...a sorted list
2.  ...the whole lut-name displayed (filename too long)

I thank y'all very much in advance.
By the way...stay safe and strong! #coronavirus

thanks for the insight! I appreciate!

This would be very kind! Even though I know substance designer and quixel mixer by name, I never used it or gave it a try.
Do you think it's essential to work with these tools for getting realistic renders?

Airport Wall
*material inspired by interior architectural design elements from Dulles International Airport

hi cjqidd
the material is amazing! can you give any insight into the wall material? ...especially displacement, bump?
