Hello there, I'm creating a small scene with lightsaber. Here is my bg shot and few settings.

Very nice start. It will be important to get the metals right, so remember to use very low diffuse values and high Fresnel IOR (between 4 - 12)...  And never use 100% reflectivity ;) Mostly around 60-80% ;)

Do you mean that I should reduce color value for diffuse (even if I have map in this slot) ?
For which material should I crank up the IOR ?



Oh, I read "materials" instaed of "metals" , sorry : ) But by the way, I'm not sure with strange reflections on cloth materials :/
