Hi,
recently we produce archviz highrise images, containing 500+ corona disk lights in the rooms. We struggle with excessive noise in some spots of the image and irregular lighting in the rooms. Almost like if renderer is making lottery which light in which room goes stronger for every new rendering. I can´t show the exact images due to NDA but attached is render based on from-scratch-clean new max2022+corona9 scene, one simple material + glass, 60storeys building with identical geometry in every level, identical 360 instances of disk light, one in each room, multiplier 500.  Basic setup Corona Sun+sky both Mult 1,0, sun low on horizon.  20passes, undenoised and denoised render. The rooms have uneven lighting and more noise in some spots, although the noise is not that excessive as in our production scene.
I guess this topic has been covered previously but I still can´t find the solution.
thanks for any help

Hi,

Could you please provide the following information:

1. Which version of Corona are you using? (Corona 9 or Corona 9 HF 1)
2. What secondary GI solver are you using?
3. Are you using Corona Physical Materials?
4. What resolution are you rendering in? (2k?)
5. Are you using the Adaptive Light Solver found in the Development Rollout in Corona?
6. Is the light source size small and the intensity very high?

Ps. 20 passes seems very less to clear all the noise.
