Halftone effect - toon shader?

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to achieve any of the following effects (or similar) with Corona in C4d.
How would you guys go about it? Any ideas?

Hi, This is pretty rough but you could try playing around with the "Spots" Sketch and Toon shader.
