Hi,
I'm just starting using Corona and I cannot change the displacement quality on a former Vray scene I made.
The displacement is working but the shape is not correct at all.
I should have a straight line displaced but there are like noises on  the sides.
Look on the photos to understand.

Well, it seems that I don't know how to put a photo on the post...I'm sorry...

When you write a post, look for attachment system at the bottom of window. Through it you can attach images to forum.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

Hi, there was a similar thread before:
https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,5967

The solution is to use displace modifier or different map for displacement.

For something such as this modelling would be much much faster, but still it does show how clean vray disp can be.

Yes, it's a real pain to use displacement in corona...
displacement is an everyday tool, impossible to not use it in many circumstances...
I hope Corona's team will hear our need, eh,eh...

Yes, Corona displacement can be improved. But the point is, that no matter what renderer you use, it will always be better (+ less CPU demanding) to model this kind of geometry (straight corners etc.).
