I can't find any issues here either, I've investigated the export process of that specific asset "Canyon Sandstone Rock", the asset is exported to 3ds max/Corona with 2.5cm displacement value. Although it might look a bit excessive when compared to the actual asset within the Quixel bridge, please note that the previewer of the bridge doesn't seem to have any displacement whatsoever (only albedo, normal, ao/cavity, roughness).

Regardless, under similar lighting conditions, the result is pretty much the same, do note that Quixel for some reason exports all assets within 3ds max with 99 bump, usually this creates some unwanted artefacts on the model, I would suggest you lower it to 1.0-2.0. (please see attached images)

I hope this helps.

Hello there. First of all, I'm sorry for my english.

I went back to using Corona Renderer again, But the displacement problems have also returned. I downloaded the folder and put it in its place, but nothing has changed.

I don't know what else to do.

Thank you so much for everything.

Which version of Corona and Quixel Bridge are you using?

Hello everyone,

Thanks to everyone who responded.

About the normal 99 bump, I've already corrected it before reaching out. This problem I've been aware for quite some time, but in relation to displacement the problem persists, regardless of the 3D model or light configuration. I tried to reproduce the same light at the same position of the image you sent me and nothing changed.

Even though I changed the displacement to 2.5cm, the model is still "strange"

I'm attaching some images as an example with your configurations.

I use the Corona Version: 6 (Hotfix 1) and the latest version of Bridge (2020.4.3) with MSLiveLink 5.0 (The same as the folder you posted here).

I don't know how your model supposed to look, but if you think that displacement is wrong, then check if you load height map with correct gamma - it should be gamma - 1.0 The same goes for normal and roughness maps. Albedo map should be loaded with gamma - 2.2 (or automatic).

I changed the gamma, but it didn't make a difference. In addition, it also changed the displacement values to 0.3 cm and 2.5 cm and remained the same thing.

I attached a render of how it should be, it was made by Corona support.

Those look pretty similar. Can you rotate the light/sun in your rendering to match the light in the other and see how it looks?

You definitely should see some difference when you change displacement value that much. Maybe you have displacement turned off globally? Check that in the render setup>common tab.

Hi. You should also check the size of the rock. Is it imported at the right size, or is it far to big? If it's to big, 0,3cm vs 2,5cm maybe wouldn't be noticeable.

One more thing to check - if your rock material is nested into Corona layered, or blend material, then displacement won't work if plugged in any but the base slot.
