TL;DR: HDRI map would sometimes render without the sunlight (not referring to CoronaSun). Can't trace back or figure out why, and how to fix it.

Hi. First time asking here.

Just started using Corona Renderer for 3ds Max recently, and sometimes I keep encountering this problem where everything is working as expected, then suddenly the HDRI would render without the sunlight. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I accidently turned something on/off, I just couldn't trace things back or figure out how it happened. Anybody had a similar issue? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. Tried the HDRi (winter_sky) without any issues. Maybe you could give some more information on your setup, bitmap loader used, bitmap setings etc.

If you are using a VRay HDR-loader, this is/was known to cause issues. If not, then we need more info :)

Can you show us:
- an example render with sunlight on and off
- your setup of the HDRI in the material editor
- how exactly you are loading your HDRI environment
