Hi,
This is the way i fastly postpro my renders when I do not use Render Elements :
In Corona :
- in the Corona FrameBuffer / ColorMap, choose the correct Exposure (EV)
- set the Highlight compress to 1 - the image should look a bit burnt but you'll be able to fix this in Photoshop ...
- Save your render in .exr 32bit-full float
In Photoshop :
- I use a plugin to correct the burnt areas (tonemapping) - ArionFX Tonemapping from RandomControl. With this one, you'll be able to add bloom, glare and so to your image, making it more attractive ...
- This done, your image should look like in the Corona Frame Buffer (when you use higher Highlight compress values), but keeps more lighting datas (like a RAW image!)...
- Then use Camera Raw filter. You'll access to a lot of parameters (Contrast, Exposure, Blacks, Whites, Midtones ...) just play with them!
- You can adjust the final look with Curves, Photo filters ...
It's a very fast way (15-30min) to improve the look of your images.
