Hi. Yes, you're right. Alpha doesn't work at the moment. It's a known bug, reported several times. I think (hope) it will be fixed in commercial release.

Hi. AFAIK the materiale Converter converts the whole scene, and not just the selected. By default maps/materials are not displayed after convention - so everything turns grey. You'll have to press the "Show Material" button to have them displayed. Is this the problem or is everything also white/grey when you render the scene?

The Mat Converter will only convert Vray mats if Vray is installed. So i.e. mental ray users won't be able to convert Vray scenes.

If you are planning to use any GPU renderer (not Corona), then you should also note, that the 12 GB RAM in fact is 2x6 GB, meaning that your entire scene has to fit into 6 GB.

Well, as I understand it, this option will only be for SaaS (and only if it's technical possible) - not Box, nor Box + subscription :(
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I would love to be wrong about this. Work + home for 1 Box + subscription would be the right deal for a lot of people.

Hi. As a subscription costumer I'm allowed to install Max on 2 computers, as long as I only use one at a time. This way I have installed Max both at work and at home (stand alone - not network license). Very practical!
If I buy 1 Corona license, can I then install and use Corona on both machines (one at a time), or do I need to buy 2 licenses? Do you have another solution for this scenario?
PS - Network license is not an option, since I don't have access to my work server from home.

The model looks very accurate, so I was wondering: Did you model it all in Max or did you use other programs too?
