Hello,
our office is looking to purchase new workstations to modeling/rendering jobs. Naturally, our modeling software is 3ds max and renderer Corona 6 atm.
Our budget for workstation is around 3-4K€/station.
What do you think about this spec:
Intel Core i9-10900K, LGA1200, 3.70 GHz, 20MB
PRIME-Z490-A Asus PRIME Z490-A, ATX-motherboard
G.Skill 64GB (4 x 16GB) Ripjaws V, DDR4, 3200MHz, CL16
Corsair 1TB Force MP600 M.2 2280 NVMe, 4950/4250 MB/s
PNY Quadro RTX 4000, 8GB GDDR6, 3x DP/USBC
Fractal Design Define C, ATX -case
CP-9020178-EU Corsair 650W RM650x
Is i9 a proper processor or should we opt for Xeon or something from AMD? What about the graphics card, Quadro or not?
Best, Tomi.
