Hi,
C4D S26 crash/freezes after finishing rendering in C4d image manager (at "Copyring output buffer...").
Only in the Corona VFB is it possible to end the rendering without crashing.
Unfortunately, no report can be written due to the crash.
C4D S26, corona-9-c4d-daily-2022-04-21-mac, corona-9-c4d-daily-2022-05-11-mac.
macOS Big Sur iMac5K 27
C4D R25 renders with Corona9 without any problems.
Thanks

Hi, thanks for your message. Do you mean the ''Picture Viewer'' in C4D instead? If so, may I ask why you choose that over the VFB?
-
yes I mean the "Picture Viewer'' in C4D.
I prefer this for these reasons.
- If there are many renderings, I can save them in series
- cannot activate team render in VFB
- unified GUI
- VFB does not snap into layout
- A/B comparison
I only use the VFB for LightMix and Multi-pass Rendering
thanks

Thanks for the info. Can you also test out the latest V9 daily and let me know if the issue is the same? It can be accessed here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17efFYw2WOXikJiKty1Zv14Pi7nV2pjTE

Just a note:
On windows I found that some issues can occur which depend on preference settings for Corona's control & use of VFB & PV.

I found the mistake. I loaded my customized layout preset from the older C4D R25. C4D S26 doesn't like any thing about it. I will now rebuild my customized layout preset again :-(
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your great work and the super fast support.

Ahhh, nice to know. Thanks for sharing a heads up, glad you got it sorted :)
