It does work here with C4D native renderer but as soon as I switch to corona it does not work.
Did you use the normal C4D bitmap shader?

Hi,

how can I load an hdri Image sequence in corona for c4d?
Normally in c4d you can just load it as bitmap and set it to animation in the bitmap shader. But this seems not to be supported by corona? The corona bitmap on the other hand does support animations.
Any ideas?

how can I get the Corona AO working for both sides?
Meaning concave and convex corners
Attached are two images for eather concave or convex working. What I need is both at the same time.

Hi,

how can I get Masks or Passes of Objects that are behind another transparent Object. For example behind a window.
I tried to use the compositing tag and uncheck the visible in mask for the glass objects but that does not work.

Any other ideas?

Oh I wasn't aware that Reflectance worked with Corona. Don't you need to create all new materials when you use it? TopCoat is nice, but I thought it only worked with the Physical renderer.

Yeah having all those options are nice in the Cinema materials, just kind of confusing at first glance haha. Like for example, does Brightness under the reflection channel correlate to Level in the 3ds max version?

Yes the Brightness has the same effect as level in max - but only if you don't have a map in the slot.
But with the new PBR Materials you rarely have to touch the reflection anyway. Just use the glosiness - as easy as that!

BTW I like the C4D Editor way more than the max one which just looks awful ;-)

Putting it on null is what I did for now ;-)

It's just annoying if you forget to do it.
BTW same with copying layered materials between scenes and always missing the mats which are inside the layered mat ;-)

Unfortunately if I run the remove unused Material Command from Cinema it also removes the Volume Material from the Global volume slot in the Scene Environment tab which is kind of unwanted.

Possible to fix that?

why don't you just rotate the sky object. It's much more intuitive to me.

Yes its handy having that save setting. But really I think we all probably agree that it would be reassuring to just hit render and it spits out just the high res version of the one we have been tweaking in the tests. With also the benefit of still tweaking in the VFB after if need be.

Its also a consideration for batch rendering which I dont think would be possible with the current manual process for light mix.

It would also be nice to have an option to feed back the lighting changes into the lights themselves so they dont reset every time. I know this would have to be used with caution if there were multiple angles to consider which would need their own balance. But for one shot wonders this would be useful. But actually saving to specific cameras is the superior option and I wouldnt have thought it would be any more difficult.

Unfortunately the Normal Direction Shader does not work inside a Layer Shader.
It does work otherwise.
Any chance to have it working inside the layer shader as well?

Is it possible for Corona to support the new enhanced OGL with corona material to have this fantastic editor preview?
