Looks excellent! Has the quality of a still life painting about it.

Does the montage image show the actual sequence in which you built this up or is it variations on the scene made afterwards?

I would say that the pale green sauce/dressing has a more solidified appearance than maybe it could.
I don't know if that's something that would be addressed through the geometry or the shader.

Yeah, i think the shader.. :) and for the montage images, those are just draft renders for composition and color correction in photoshop.

the glassware are done in zbrush, broken glass in rayfire, Corona v6, photoshop and after effects :)
I use the zdepth pass to have more control on the dof. and some elements like refract and reflect.
overall just 80 passes.. there's still noise on those glass mats but i think its just enough.

Its a combination of separate passes of different reflections to achieve the effect that im looking for and composited in photoshop.
