Very nice indeed .. but what about material handling ?
I ask that because I can't test myself .. still unable to run Corona on my workstation :( :( :(

Integrated for standard max lights, script for vray on scriptspot.com

Maybe it depends on version but I have "vray light lister" as a standard tool without downloading any scripts.

Yes, I guess it's because for some time now, it's installed with VRay.

Currently only CoronaScatter (in corona category in create new object panel) and MDO are supported

MDO ?? they're still alive ?? :)
It's a loooong time since I last heard about Davy ... I've been part of the early beta of their tools,, I'd say 2 years ago maybe, since that ... nearly nothing ! I tend to consider their stuff as some vaporware tbh ... I'd rather be wrong though ;)

tbh, I quite liked an old Corona ad campaign (assuming there's no user younger than 18 around)  :P

TBH, at first I read "Spongeboob" ... you'll easily understand I was pretty curious to see what you had ended with :)

Finally took the .dll file, and put it in the same place as SSE41.exe, and no more errors (see enclosed capture). The weird thing is that this .dll is actually present on my computer ...

Hi Keymaster:)

I had already done so, but here it is ... looks like Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) isn't installed properly, right ? however, I've already installed it, without any warning / error :(

I'm finishing a project here, and I'd really like to give Corona a try on a bunch of scenes I made here ... any chance to get some help trying to find where the problem comes from, please ? I mean, Corona is certainly the only one plugin I don't manage to run here, I'd like to understand ;)

Thanks.

Off-Topic / Re: Your OTHER renderer?
« on: 2012-10-24, 09:57:10 »
Used to be an 100 % finalRender user (and active beta tester), switched to VRay about 2 years ago.

A lot of fR users seem to be dissatisfied lately :)

Looooooooong story you have no idea :)

[Max] Resolved Feature Requests / Re: Multilingual versions
« on: 2012-10-24, 09:56:34 »
In my opinion, translating graphics applications (2d or 3d) is a complete failure. Most words used in computer graphics can't be translated, or translating them wouldn't change anything as they are very specialised words. Other words would just change a bit, for example if someone for some reason tried to translate the word "render" to Polish, it would probably be "renderuj" which is completely pointless.

Of course there is point in making multilingual documentations/manuals/tutorials and I would be very happy to help with it (English -> Polish) as there is a HUGE Polish cg society and generally cg business in Poland.

On the other side, most tutorials or manuals consist of 90% images or videos and usually can be understood without much text.

Totally agree - we're talking about a renderer here, not about a "full" app like 3dsmax or Photoshop ....
