to better explain the bug or problem i ran into i will simplify my setup first:
i do the modeling/texturing on PC1 (corona proxy meshes are also stored on a harddrive on this machine) and for stills up to 1080px i only render on this one.
so today i had to render a heavy scene in 4200 by 2362px and since it only contains 7 single objects (trees/plants/objets) scattered around, i decided to take my time and set up proxys for all of them. for example the way i did this for a bench was a null with 5 proxy meshes as children all with different textures ofc. and i instantly felt in love with the point-cloud-display, this speeds up the viewport a lot! great job guys!
so when rendering on PC1 - everything is perfectly fine, but since i need sort of high resolution on this one, i booted up PC2,3,4 and 5 as renderslaves.
all of them have the same c4d version and the same corona plugin version installed and work fine together!
BUT this setup renders everything except the proxy objects. only PC1 is rendering on the proxy objects and the other 4 PCs are rendering the ground/background material
behind the proxy - basically proxyobject looks faded, vary faded when the rendering is finished...
i know when using normal poly objects with the c4d renderinstances, everything renders fine! but it would take me a few hours to change all those proxys to instance objects with scaling/rotating/placing in the spots again..
now my question is - am i doin something wrong or is it just impossible to use proxys in teamrender ? - here is an easy example...
